PixElement New Features:
See the video above which gives you an overview of some of the new features that are now out with the newest update of PixElement (2.1.6). See the New Features (2.1.6) Blog Post for more information. More in depth tutorials will be coming soon.
These new features include:
Profile Viewer in Survey Canvas for visualizing elevation and distance changes along any polyline, simplifying grading analysis for applications such as water flow management, road or trail planning, utility line routing, slope stability assessments and construction site prep.
Volume Reports which allow you to easily calculate and analyze volume measurements from your 3D models.
Snapping Polylines to Mesh which allows precise alignment and connection of shapes and lines in 2D and 3D environments by snapping to specific points, lines, or intersections based on defined modes and criteria. It supports various functionalities such as orthogonal, extension, intersection, and perpendicular snaps to enhance drawing accuracy and streamline workflows.
Additional New Features
PixElement now has a fully documented Enterprise API that enables the integration of cloud or desktop photogrammetry processing into your existing applications and workflows. Whether you’re building custom tools or enhancing existing platforms, this API provides robust functionality for automating data processing, accessing advanced photogrammetry features, and managing outputs. It’s designed for developers and enterprises seeking to scale their projects efficiently and tailor solutions to specific industry needs.
There will be more information coming on the Enterprise API in the near future. If you would like to learn more about integrating or working with our API, please do not hesitate to contact us.
LiDAR + Imagery Integration enables the combination of LiDAR data with high-resolution imagery to create highly detailed and accurate 3D models. This powerful integration ensures precise elevation data and rich visual context, offering unparallelled insights into your projects. Whether you’re working on topographic mapping, infrastructure planning, vegetation analysis, or construction site management, the combination of LiDAR and imagery provides the accuracy and detail needed to make informed decisions. With PixElement, you can achieve more reliable project outcomes, reduce errors, and streamline workflows in even the most challenging environments.
