Creating a reliable and accurate photogrammetry model efficiently is crucial for many companies across various industries.

This particular model shows PixElement’s capabilities using a DJI Mini 3 Pro flown manually. We utilized a combination of nadir and oblique imagery flight paths to capture our data with a flight time of about 10 minutes.

Integrating these methods with micro drones demonstrates how technology can meet the needs of our clients quickly and feasibly. Microdrones, such as the DJI Mini 3 Pro, offer significant advantages in photogrammetry. Their compact size and lightweight design make them ideal for navigating tight or complex environments where larger drones may struggle. Additionally, they can be deployed rapidly, allowing for quick data collection in time-sensitive situations.

Microdrones are also less likely to require special permissions or regulatory clearances, which can help with operation time, especially in urban areas or other areas where regulation is more stringent. Their ease of use and affordability make them accessible tools for a wide range of professionals.

Looking at the model, for example, in renovation or restoration projects involving siding, roofing or other infrastructure, this model could be very useful. Contractors can use the precise 3D model to assess the current condition of the structure, identify areas that require repair and plan the necessary interventions with high accuracy. PixElement’s detailed imagery allows for exact measurements and clear understanding of a site’s layout, facilitating better material estimation and project planning. Additionally, this model could serve as a reference throughout the rehabilitation process, ensuring that the work is carried out according to the initial assessments and reducing the likelihood of errors or oversights.

The versatility of microdrones combined with advanced photogrammetry software like PixElement provides the flexibility and precision for your projects. By leveraging these tools, professionals can achieve their goals more efficiently.
